The City of Manchester decided to sell recreational green space, known as “Parkside Park” to a private organization. We are a group of residents wishing to preserve the use of the Park as green space, for the benefit of neighborhood kids and the gardeners of the Community Garden in the Park.

The Park and the woods behind it and behind Parkside school host several species of small animals, attracting raptors like “Alice”, the adopted mascot of Parkside Community Garden.
